Team Lou Pitchoun USA Is Back

Last year, near the end of my first chemo, I initiated with the support of my family a fund raiser project for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, since this organization had helped us during the cancer journey, and most importantly, has funded over the years the research for new treatments that I benefited from.

The event was the Light The Night Walk in Virginia Beach. Giving time and energy for this organization was our way to give back after we received so much.

Of course, we had to find a name for our team. An intense brain storm for a meaningful name finally led to Lou Pitchoun. Thus, this event is truly the starting point of the current Lou Pitchoun adventure.

So we are back this year! And we are determined to use our last year’s experience to raise even more money, and end up again as one of the top local team, to support blood cancer patients and the research for new and better treatments.
